The hydraulic circuit of the assembled cutter when first used is completely empty of oil. In order to make sure that no air remains in the excavator pumps,which may damage it,it is necessary to start the machine and slowly pressurize the hydraulic circuit to avoid possible counterstrokes,until the maximum operating pressure is set which must comply with the specifications of the cutter listed on the identification label. With motor at minimum open the jaws of the cutter 1/4 and close again,then open half way and close again,then open3/4 and close again ,finally open completely and close again.Perform the opening and closing operation of the cutter 5 or 6 times checking that there are no leaks along the hydraulic circuits.Then check the levels of the oil of the hydraulic pumps and possibly top them off. Before using the cutter for demolition operations,move to an open unobstructed space free of persons in the machine’s radius of action,and perform a few maneuvers empty in order to become familiar with the equipment.At this point,the cutter can be used in work operations.
